Happy baby friday! Today I'm gonna show you how to go from my before to my after pic below using 5 simple steps with your makeup!
Mac Bronzing Powder
Mac Fluidline Gel Liner
Step By Step Guide
Step One:
Apply bronzing powder above your cheek bones. I like to use bronzing powder instead of blush because my cheeks tend to look flushed on their own. My bronzing powder of choice is Mac in Bronze.
Step Two:
Apply the eyeshadow color of your choice. My naked 2 and naked 3 palette's are my go-to's. For this look I relied on my naked 3 using Limit as my base and giving it a little bit of a darker shimmer by mixing Mugshot and Factory together. Then I use Strange as a highlighter under my brow and in the inner corners of my eyes.
Step Three:
Next, apply your top liner. Using a small angled brush, apply gel eyeliner to the edge of your eyelid. I like Mac's fluidline in Blacktrack and applying it with their 208 brush. I always put on my top liner before my mascara so it's easier to clean up if I make a mistake. Since I'm new to the top liner look I still use my fluidline under my eye as well, but do whatever makes you feel best!
Step Four:
Next, apply your mascara. I like to use two different mascaras to make sure my lashes are full of volume, extra long but not clumped together. In order to achieve this look I first apply my Mac Zoom Fast Black Lash mascara to thicken and lengthen my lashes. Then, I apply my Mac Studio Fix Bold Black Lash mascara to get rid of any lashes that clumped together. I repeat this step until I get my desired look.
Step Five:
Last but not least apply your lipstick! I'm not super big on bold colors (there are rare times I pull them out) so my go to colors are Mac's Pure Zen, Mac's Coral Bliss, and Revlon's Color Burst Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade (that I usually pair with Revlon's color burst lip gloss in Bellini). For this look I went with Coral Bliss.
Then Ta-Da you're done!
Simple and easy to apply makeup in 5 easy steps! And remember, you can substitute any colors or brands for each step, these are just my personal preferences :).
Have a great day!
