The Dress - I would want something that is sure to turn heads from the second anyone sees me in it! When I saw the Monique Lhuillier Sentimental wedding dress on lover.ly I instantly fell in love! This silk white chantilly lace and embroidered tulle strapless modified trumpet gown with a sweetheart neck was exactly what I could picture myself getting married in. It fits perfectly in my City Glam setting because its chic, has sparkle, but still holds some tradition with its lace detailing.
The Shoes - Every show stopping dress needs fabulous heels to pair with it. I would pair the Badgley Mischka Petal Pump with my dress for a few reasons. One being its classic, timeless and elegant, allowing it to fit perfectly with my city glam setting, and still has some sparkle to make it even more glamorous!
Hair Piece & Veil - Every girl should feel like a princess on her wedding day, especially when you have it in a big city. There's nothing that makes a girl feel more like a princess than a tiara, but instead of actually wearing one I decided to pair the 'Dawson' headpiece from untamed petals with my dress. Since the detailing on my dress and my headpiece are so vibrant I would would pair it with the Minimalist's veil by Preston and Olivia that I found on lover.ly.
Jewelry - For my picture perfect city glam wedding I would keep my jewelry simple. A pair of diamond studs with a halo and simple diamond bracelet would be enough for me. I want to be the one to stand out on my wedding and not be outshine by a ton of bling in my accessories!
And that's my Dream Day City Glam style! I was able to find all of these glam pieces on lover.ly, a bride's digital best friend to help take the stress out of wedding planning. But don't fret if you aren't about to get married, you can sign up and join without being engaged like I did! It's like pinterest but only for all things related to weddings!
What would you wear if you had to plan your dream day today?
