Wine Festival Wear

This past weekend I had attended the Lincoln Park Wine Fest. With 80+ wines to taste along with cider beers, food and flare, this sounded like a great idea when I bought tickets back in April. However, with Chicago being the finicky weather state it is, it was 40 degrees and raining, ugh. However, we toughed it out and had the best time we could in the circumstances - getting in all the wine we could before we decided it was too cold to endure anymore. With the cold weather I decided to wear rain boots and an over sized sweater to feel more comfortable. big mistake was not bringing a jacket! Here's to hoping Chicago gets on the summer weather bandwagon sometime soon!
