Currently Craving: Luggage
Happy Hump Day! Since Brittani and I both travel frequently, we thought it fitting to showcase our favorite luggage picks for international vacations, business trips or even a stay-cation. Below you'll find what works best for us for all of our travel needs.
The Stay-cation
Even though we both live in Chicago, the hustle and bustle of everyday life takes away from really enjoying our city. Both Brittani and I have stayed in hotels around Chicago for weekend getaways that allowed us to see our city in a new light and gain some RnR in the process.
Because you don't need much on a stay-cation,The Longchamp 'Le Pliage' tote is perfect for carrying the essential toiletries, hair supplies and basic garments. Also, the fact that it can expand is a lifesaver for those en promptiu shopping moments down Michigan Ave. With two basic color choices (blue and black) you can't go wrong.
The Business Trip
Although traveling for business can seem like a pain (hello layovers and scarce outlet plugs) the right tech accessories will get you through it in a breeze. I prefer a bag that can hangle all of my needs, with numerous pockets and inserts. I also like to switch out my phone case for a more sophisticate and simple look for when I'm in meetings. All of the below are great for staying organized and plugged in.
Laptop bag // Laptop hard-shell case // Portable charger // Frends headphones //iPhone case // Ear Buds // Gigi New York Pouch
International Travel
For those who have been out of the country, you know packing is no easy feat. However with the right luggage and organizers, your trip is much more enjoyable. Our key three items would be a cosmetic bag for organization, a cross body bag that you can keep close to your body with zippers and a luggage hard-shell case (you never know where your bag may end up nor in what conditions)
