Must Brunch

Even though it's technically Fall, the weather in Chicago has stayed beautiful. Usually patios and rooftops are long closed by now, but with temps still in the 60s and 70s a few have kept theirs open. Below are my favorite spots from this past summer that are equally as great in the Fall in winter months (sans patio) but still have theirs open!

Summer House Santa Monica - 1954 N Halsted, Lincoln Park, Chicago

Brittani and I love Summer House. No matter what time of year, it always feels like summer and the food is some of the best al fresco dinning in Lincoln park - the ceiling and bar walls retract for an outside atmosphere. With their locally made breads and baked goods, I dubbed this the best avocado toast on the north side.

Orange - 2413 N Clark St, Lincoln Park, Chicago

If pancakes are your thing, Orange is the place to go. With pancake flights on constant rotation (you get 4 of their seasonal best!), and healthy juicing options that don't taste health at all, Orange is a great little brunch place to hit up if you're in the area. *Location also available in Roscoe Village.

Hampton Social - 353 W Hubbard St, River North, Chicago

A new recent favorite has become Hampton Social. It is the long Island flair with seafood in abundance. My favorite so far has been the Main style Lobster roll, however don't opt out of their delish drink menu - it may be their best quality.

Bar Siena - 832 W Randolph St.

This restaurant is also fairly new to the neighborhood, but had great expectation due to it's sister venue, Siena Tavern. The brunch here was to die for. Being in the west loop, it has a more urban vintage feel than Siena Tavern, but it plays it's part for the neighborhood. I would recommend their prosciutto fig pizza and bloody Mary's on repeat.

Now get brunchin'! Have a great weekend!
