Beauty in the Bag
I always keep a small beauty bag with me at all times (during the day) for touch ups, refreshers, or spontaneous sleep overs at Ryan's place. The products I put in there are on constant rotation and this month these are my favorite beauty finds that I'm swearing by.
Urban Decay Naked 2 eye pallet: I love this pallet for it's golden neutrals that brighten up any dreary or tired eyes. I stare at a computer for most of my work day, and although these shadow stay on really well (especially with this primer), I like to touch it up on my way out for the night as a refresher, especially if I have something special going on!
Clean, White Woods: I like to have a scent on me throughout the day. This one by Clean smells like summer in a bottle and picks up my mood the instant I smell it. With notes of sandalwood and amber woods, It's comforting and warm during these cold months.
Lancome BI-FACIL Double Acting Eye Make-up Remover: I always used drug store brand make up remover until my Sister gifted my the Lancome gift set for Christmas this year. Although this tube is small, it is mighty at getting any oil, dirt and make up off in a synch. I also love how it's gentle formula leave my eyes feeling soft and smooth enough that I don't need to apply eye cream at night.
Lancome GRANDIOSE Wide Angle Fan Effect Mascara: This mascara is as cool as it sounds. The angled brush makes it extremely easy for fast application without needing to stick your neck out and tilt your head at odd angles. I've even used this applicator while in a moving car, and it never smeared! The make-up itself stay lusciously wet looking throughout the day without getting clumps or dry.
NARS, Deep Throat Blush: However embarrassing the name might be to say out loud, this blush doesn't mess around. It stays put where ever you apply it and the color is bright and warm without being over bearing. I like to pair it with my bronzer to achieve a more sun kissed look.
As for the accessories, my current Zac Posen go to sunglasses are via DITTO, which you can learn about from my post here. I love the tortoise shell pattern and semi cat eye to accentuate my eye line. My bracelet is the Jamie Gold Bracelet in Platinum Drusy by Kendra Scott, which I've really been into lately! Her stones are stunning. She is currently having a big online sale on most of her coveted items from last year, check it out here!
