Checkered Black & White

Since it was unseasonably warm right up until I left on vacation this week, I couldn't resist getting all dressed up without the need of a jacket to cover it all up! This checkered flannel is great for dressing up or down and the added vest gave it some dimension. I'm also tending to stay away from big statement pieces lately, however this silver gem really took this outfit up a notch and complimented the white and black nicely.

My booties are via Life Stride and honestly, my feet are thanking them for this gift because they couldn't be more comfortable. The padding inside makes it feel as if I'm not even wearing heels! They're now on sale for under $60 on lifestride.com.
