In college, I never paid my face much attention, and that meant falling asleep in make-up and not using the right products for my skin type. Fast forward 4 years later, and I am certainly paying for those days. I noticed a change in my completion not too far after and decided I needed to start giving my face a little TLC. My beauty routine is pretty minimal, and I believe you don't need a whole tone of product in order to keep a healthy looking face (at least in your twenties). All of my favorite products are shown above and you can shop them through the links below if you feel they fit your beauty routine or you just need something new to try!
NARS Blush: Both of my NARS products are for after I prep my face, but I just couldn't leave them out. This blush is a staple for me and I can't really live without it. The Color, Deep Throat, is a perfect deep shade of pink that brings out my natural rose hue in my skin. If you have fair-medium tone like me, I would definitely give this a try!
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil: My lips are pretty pink without product, but this matte lip pencil really help brings out my natural tone. It isn't too much and is great for a work or day look.
Chanel Body Creme: This was a limited edition, but is in my signature scent. It has a tint of shimmer and I love to put it on my neck and shoulders to give a little but of a dewy illumination to my collar bone and shoulders.
Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel: I swear by this stuff. Because it is alcohol free, it won't do any damage while still acting as a buffer and subtle moisturizer. I use this after I wash my face or use my make-up wipes.
Origins Charcoal Face Mask: I use this face mask once a week and it is a great detox. The charcoal elements help pull out the weeks damage and leave me feeling fresh faced. My skin also looks brighter and more tones.
BI-FACIL Double Action Eye Make up remover: I use this strictly for my eye make-up. It is gentle and not too greasy feeling. I sometimes leave it on as a moisturizer for my lashes since they need some lovin' too.
Ponds Caring Classic Cream: Ponds is an oldie but a goodie. It is something my Grandmother taught me to use, and she definitely knew best. This brand has been around forever and they really know their products. I use this at night and in the morning as a dual face cream. It leaves my skin refreshed and smooth.
Neutrogena Oil Free Pink Grapefruit Wipes: In the case that I don't use a facial cleanser, I turn to these oil-free wipes. The fresh grape fruit smell helps me wake up in the morning and the toilettes help exfoliates while it cleanses.
