Monochromatic Pastels

When I had the chance to check out Banana Republic's newest arrivals, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Upon receiving this beautiful petite Raw-Edge Peplum jacket, it was love at first sight. The subtle silver mint tone makes it the perfect pastel to style for Spring. The cropped fit hits me right at the waist (I'm wearing a petite size 4) with the perfect arm length. It's light weight for warmer weather but kept me from feeling cold during this particularly windy day. From up close, the delicate detail on it really gives it great dimension and although I opted for a more casual look here, I could easily dress it up with a skit and some heels.
I was running around the city all day and usually turn to my workout gear and backpack, however this jacket and scalloped zip pouch (currently 30% off!) helped me feel done up without needing too much effort. I love the 3D cut out scallops on this clutch. It is also the perfect size for my phone and other necessitates without being too bulky. It's richer mint tone helps bring out the hues in my jacket and made for a great monochromatic accessory.

My sneakers have been on back order in my size for what feels likes forever, but I finally was able to pick them up the other week and (dare I say it?) I'm back at it again with the white (not vans) but Adidas Originals Superstar. I love their vintage cool factor, as I totally rocked these back in the 4th grade, but the all white and leather cut outs take it to a new chic level. Snag your size here, before they sell out!
