For those that don't know, Trunk Club is a full service stylist program that will survey you for your favorite styles and fashion wish lists and bring them right to you. Although I style myself, I love to use their services for finding new styles and it doesn't hurt to have a second opinion of what looks best when trying things on. Their Chicago location is one of my favorite creative spaces, with a full service open bar, rooftop terrace and industrial open loft floor plan. Being petite, I was a little hesitant to try overalls for fear that they would swallow up my small frame and especially scared that the flared look would be too overpowering on my legs. However, upon try on, they proved to be instantly slimming and when paired with heels, make me look more long limbered (I'm tall at last!). The great thing about Trunk club is they do in-house alterations at no cost to you. Since I most definitely needed these overalls to be shortened, Monica called up their seamstress to my dressing room and she was able to measure them out in about 5 seconds. I paid for them right then and there and received my overalls 2 weeks later at the perfect length, without the headache of finding a good seamstress! They also have incredible stretch which makes them comfortable and roomy - it doesn't even feel like I have overalls on. It's a more modern take on a vintage style and I didn't want to take them off after wearing them all day.
