Little Blue Romper

Shoulders are having quit the moment in fashion these days and I am loving the style and fulling embracing the trend, especially in this summer heat. I've been opting to wear the style in shirts or dress, but when I cam across this romper I knew I had to fit it into my wardrobe as well.
In the past I was always a little skeptical about rompers. Being a shorter less lean person, I felt that the swallowed the little length I had and made me look stumpy. However, when styled right and finding a petite fit, they can actually do the opposite. The frills on the sleeves and bottom of this romper give it a little more body and movement which help it not look to slouchy on my smaller frame.

I also absolutely adore the print. The baby blue color and dark navy and white contrasts are perfect for a hot summers day and boy has it been hot around here. The steamy humidity forces a shorts and tank only policy, which makes a romper a great substitute when you want to look more put together. I'll definitely being grabbing them from closet more frequently as the summer goes on.
