Apologies for being a little MIA! I've been taking some time to travel, focus on my new job and take some me time. However I am getting back into the swing of things with weekly posts, so stayed tuned for some great collaborations and content coming up! This past weekend I finally made my way to Florida. Growing up, we always headed to the west coast for family vacations, so I never ventured down to the sunshine state before. Let me start by saying the sun is REAL. I made the mistake of thinking one coat of sunscreen would be enough and quickly learned that the sun is stronger than I'm used to hanging out on Lake Michigan. Despite my currently very red shoulders and nose, I have to say Florida had a lot to offer.
Ryan spent part of his childhood in Florida and has talked about his nostalgia for Disney World since I met him. I could never fully relate as I've only been to Disneyland (not the same in his opinion), so when my beautiful baby cousin graduated college and headed downstate to live in Orlando, I knew I had to visit her after hearing so many amazing things about it. In just about three days we hit Epcot, the Magic Kingdom and even made our way to the coast for a beach day (I'm not tired at all). The beach was beautiful and totally different from the Pacific - such warm water! It's safe to say I will be back soon. Head to my Instagram @pleasantlypetite for for photos from my trip.
